TechQuest
High-tech
smartphones are the vehicle for a fun-filled, challenging, treasure hunt
that lets your team get to know one another, think creatively, and work
together.
Teams receive a
handheld smartphone pre-programmed with the TechQuest clues. The
smartphone provides the instructions for each mission, accepts & scores
your responses and the tracks your teams success. Missions run the
gamut from quick think on your feet puzzles to finding very specific
items nearby. Youll even have the opportunity to capture photos of
situations on the smartphones camera. Teams can compete with one
another to see who can successfully complete the most missions, amass
the most points and win the game.

A typical TechQuest event can take place either in a big city, small
town or even in a museum.
The program begins with an introduction by our skilled facilitator to
set the stage for the excitement to
come. Participants divide into teams of 4-6 people with one team member
appointed team captain. The team captains attend a brief training
session on how to operate the smartphone while the team creates an
inventive team name for themselves. After a chance for questions, the
activity starts and the teams are launched!
Teams have a set amount of time to complete their missions before
returning to the pre-designated ending location. The facilitator will
lead the group through a debrief of the activity, a final tally of
points and, of course, the announcement of the winning team!
Add-On
Extend
your half-day of training to a full day by helping your team members
understand each other (and themselves) better by learning about their
personalities and styles. The personality work uses the DISC instrument
to enlighten team members with new insights about themselves and how
they operate with others. A wonderful addition to the TechQuest session:
