(click photos to enlarge) Talbot County DSS Teambuilding According to Special Projects Coordinator Susan Draper, "We all agree that the time spent collaborating with each other, listening to each other, laughing together and working to "live with" each other's values and beliefs at your direction was enormously valuable---in fact, a peak training experience for our organization." For those of us here at Teambuilding, Inc., it was a pleasure serving these unsung heroes of our society. ISP Sports Convenes in New Orleans - As part of their yearly conference, sixty dynamic sales, marketing, and operations people from ISP Sports Properties, Inc. spent a day developing their team and collaborative skills with Teambuilding, Inc. The first half of the day included Peter Grazier's Building High Performance Teams, and the second half our challenging Treasure Hunt through the French Quarter. According to ISP's Kelly Hilliard, "I cannot adequately express to you in words the multitude of compliments, enriching feedback and examples of learning that I have received since your session with my staff in New Orleans. Your message spoke to the hearts, souls, and intellect." ABB Offshore Systems' Team Development Day - A full day of team development activities was spent by about forty employees of ABB Offshore Systems in Houston. The day combined our Building High Performance Teams and Personality and the Team sessions for a full day of enlightening activities. Initial concerns about "personality typing" gave way to insightful learning as participants learned how their unique abilities and preferred behaviors combine to create high-performing teams. What participants have said about this session: "Thank you for the
awesome presentation you delivered to our group at Madonna University. You opened me to
new ideas, reaffirmed the old, and modeled how it should be done."
James B. Styer, President Rosenberger Cold Storage Companies "I want to thank you for the stimulating two days you gave us here last week. Your visit spurred interest that I find hard to imagine happening any other way." Jim Manning, Georgia-Pacific Corporation
"You certainly know how to
get the audience's attention and keep it. Your program provided great
information for use by our members. The time and effort you put in prior to
the meeting to make sure your presentation was 'on target' certainly
produced solid results. You went the extra mile and this was truly
appreciated by our attendees. Some of the comments I overheard at the
conclusion of your presentation were: "You invigorated us with your participative style and stimulated us with your thought-provoking presentation materials. Whenever I come in contact with someone who participated, they thank me for choosing such a dynamic speaker." Sharon Kralick, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital "You did a good job of laying out for our managers the possible causes of resistance to change in the workplace. Your presentation was well-received. I have heard many, many favorable comments about it." James J. Riley, Social Security Administration "...the material 'fit' into their worlds...the experience will benefit them both personally and professionally." Virginia Flowers, Social Security Administration "Your session has rejuvenated us. The enthusiasm you shared and the experience you brought was truly an inspiration." Jeff Hahn, US Postal Service "We are proud to have given each member a copy of your book, Before It's Too Late -- what a powerful message that little book has!" Kevin L. Owens, Gulfstream Management Association This session can be combined with other sessions and outings such as
