Jungle Adventure
Youve sat in conference
rooms, played team games, and maybe even dangled from ropes, and now youre
looking for something different
Your group is greeted by late 19th Century music playing in the background. A visually stunning untamed jungle slideshow is displayed on the screen. Each person puts on a Khaki Jungle Adventure cap and they discover that the year is 1912. They are all a part of an expedition off the coast of Africa. Their mission is to race to save an endangered species of gorilla from poachers. In order to do so, your team must establish a base camp on the island and set up a series of communication and observatory towers. Throughout this three-hour activity, teams acquire new information that rewards flexibility and inter-team communication. Unexpected events cause teams to improvise, adapt and collaborate with other teams to accomplish the objectives. Jungle Adventure is a fast-paced team building simulation that requires effective collaboration, leadership, planning, and communication. An unlimited number of teams of five to six individuals must make their way through the uncharted African jungle. Only teamwork will save them now. Teams have just twenty days to accomplish a series of missions on their way to achieving their ultimate objective. Each day lasts between five to ten minutes. Participants will learn that every person contributes to overall group effectiveness, as they see the parallels between their actions during the exercise and their behaviors on-the-job. Your team will build trust, improve communication, and enhance collaboration as they engage in their Jungle Adventure. Key success factors include:
