Pressure Cooker
Pressure Cooker is a high
energy, intensive session that has your team preparing a gourmet meal for
themselves, or, for greater pressure, their most favored clients.
Participants meet at a restaurant reserved for them and are told they will
be preparing a multi-course meal, either for themselves or for others.
After an instructional period, team members are given aprons, hats,
recipes, and everything necessary to complete their task. Upon completion,
a thorough debrief uncovers critical elements of teambuilding and
collaboration.
 What
participants have said...
"Loved the
interaction."
"Created a level playing field...tons of fun!"
"Fun to work as a big team and pull a seemingly impossible meal
together."
"Great experience!"
"The session exceeded my
expectations.. a real surprise!"

Rite Aid Accounting Team Handles Pressure Cooker
As part of their offsite meeting, 19 members of the Rite Aid Accounting
Leadership Team traveled to
Bethesda,
Maryland, thinking that
they were going to dinner, and they did. They just didn't know
they would be preparing it...a 5-course gourmet dinner through
our Pressure
Cooker session. Under the tutelage of executive chef
and presenter extraordinaire,
Chef White, the team did, in
fact, prepare a gourmet meal second to none...in two hours! The
high-pressure exercise demonstrated the excellent teamwork that
exists in the Rite Aid Accounting Team and their ability to
respond effectively to unknown, unforeseen circumstances.
Participants rated this session a Number "1" and
said..."Very effective"..."Super!"..."5 Stars!"..."A great
teamwork exercise!." Click on the pictures to enlarge.

Teambuilding, Inc. Supports Reality Show on FOX Television
Recently Teambuilding, Inc. was contacted by the
producers of
Renovate My Family, a new reality show on FOX Television
that helps
families in distress remake their lives. Hosted by
Dr. Phil's son Jay McGraw, the show remodels the home (or one
might say "rebuilds" it) while teaching the family ways to
rebuild the family "team." For the episode on
Friday, November 5th, Chef Jim
White, who conducts our
Pressure Cooker
team development session, worked with the Senteno family to help them
learn to prepare meals together. Jim said this was classic team
building with a twist. Click on the picture of the
family to enlarge it.
