Poor Meetings - The Team Doesn't Hold Meetings

The team doesn't hold meetings? Has anyone ever suggested to the team that they should hold regular team meetings? If not, begin discussing this with them.

Good reasons to hold meetings regularly with all team members:

Provides regular needed communication among team members
Aligns all team members in a common understanding of team activities and needs
Provides an opportunity for group innovation and creative brainstorming
Builds team spirit and interpersonal relationships

Have the team discuss what benefits might occur if they begin to meet regularly. Ask the question "What's in it for us and our team if we start holding regular meetings?" This should get people talking about the benefits of team meetings. Then suggest that, at least on a trial basis, the team meet weekly.
